These bag-sealing tapes are similar to our Premium Security Tapes -- when removed, both full adhesive transfer. However, the standard tapes on this page feature a hot melt rubber adhesive compared to the Premium tapes which have a permanent acrylic adhesive.

Tamper Evident security bag tape is a specialist product which we manufacture for use on all PP and PE film types. Our security bag tapes Voids when attacked at cold and ambient temperature, and visible thermos chromic action when attacked with heat.

The tamper evidence is designed to function within one (1) minute of application. The tapes perform well on most plastic surfaces, including difficult surfaces such as PP, OPP, PVC, PE plastic etc.

All tapes featured on this page are TSA-CCSP compliant.

When tampered, these security tapes transfer all adhesive to the surface. For disposable packaging or containers this is not an issue. However, if the container will be re-used, cleaning up the adhesive residue will be more difficult and time consuming for some tapes. See the "Ease of Clean Up" recommendations if the container is to be re-used.

After removing, since most of adhesive remains on the surface (and little to none on the tape film), the tape film cannot be reused, which is an added security feature against unauthorized reuse of the tape.

Recommended	If needed, clean the application surface with 90% Isopropyl Alcohol prior to affixing the tape. Apply security tape to the clean & dry surface at or above the recommended application temperature.
Notes	1.On the recommended surfaces at 70°F, the Tamper Evident feature should be functional within 1 minute of application. 2.If the Tamper Evident feature does not perform immediately, more curing time usually improves the performance of the Tamper Evident feature. 3.For best results, allow 1 hour curing time after application.
